The Eagles announced Tuesday that they have released cornerback Roc Carmichael. Carmichael was on the 53-man active roster. The team hasn't announced any corresponding transactions.
The Eagles signed Carmichael on November 18. Carmichael was with the team for three games, against the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, and Seattle Seahawks. He was inactive for all three games.
It was Carmichael's second career stint in Philadelphia. The fourth-year cornerback spent 13 games with the Eagles last season, making two starts. He recorded 16 tackles and three passes defensed.
