The Eagles announced on Tuesday that they have released tight end Kevin Foelsch from the practice squad. This was the rookie's third stint on the Eagles' practice squad this season.
Foelsch (6-4, 250) originally signed with the Carolina Panthers as a rookie free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft but landed with the Jets fewer than two weeks later.
The University of New Haven product amassed 73 receptions for 660 yards and 16 touchdowns in five seasons.
Foelsch, a Ramsey, New Jersey native, earned first-team All-Northeast-10 Conference honors as a senior after hauling in a career-high seven touchdowns. He was the first player out of New Haven to sign a UDFA contract since 2017.
The Eagles initially claimed Foelsch off waivers during Training Camp.
