The Eagles have released safety Chip Vaughn and running back Martell Mallett from their practice squad. Mallett was likely made expendable because, with the addition of Joique Bell, the Eagles now have four running backs on the active roster. Vaughn was added to the practice squad prior to Week 1, after being released by the New Orleans Saints. The Eagles have three safeties on the active roster.
