Eagles sign CB D.J. White to the practice squad

The Eagles signed cornerback D.J. White to the practice squad on Monday morning. The four-year veteran most recently spent about a month on Washington's roster before being waived on August 31.

Prior to his stint in Washington, the 5-11, 194-pound White spent a year with the Indianapolis Colts bouncing between their active roster and practice squad. He saw action in two games with the Colts and recorded three total tackles. The Georgia Tech product was drafted in the sixth round, 178th overall, by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2016 draft. In his rookie season, he played in 11 games with 11 tackles, three passes defensed, and one interception.

During his collegiate career, he played in 48 games for the Yellow Jackets, starting in 34 of them. As a senior, White was voted one of the team captains and ranked sixth on the team with 41 tackles, two interceptions, and a team-high eight pass breakups.
