The Eagles made the following roster moves on Monday:
• Signed LB Christian Elliss and TE Noah Togiai to the practice squad
The 6-3, 231-pound Elliss was on the Eagles' practice squad earlier this year. He was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent this past spring out of Idaho. He was a first-team All-Big Sky selection in each of the past two seasons, including the 2021 spring campaign due to the fall season being wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic. His final college game was just 12 days before the 2021 NFL Draft. A starter in each of the past three years, Elliss posted a career-high 104 tackles as a junior in 2019, including a career-high 14 in a game against Portland State.
This isn't Togiai's first stint with the Eagles either. Signed as a rookie free agent out of Oregon State following the 2020 NFL Draft, Togiai was released during the final roster cutdown and was claimed by the Indianapolis Colts where he spent the season. He played in four games, but did not record any stats. The 6-foot-4, 244-pound Togiai was just the sixth tight end in Beavers history to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards.
• Released TE Nick Eubanks and WR Travis Fulgham from the practice squad
Eubanks originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a rookie free agent out of Michigan. He joined the practice squad on September 2.
Fulgham led the Eagles with 539 receiving yards last season to go along with four touchdowns. He was first among all NFL players with 435 yards over the course of his first five games with the Eagles.
