The Eagles announced changes to their roster on Tuesday following Training Camp practice.
The team has signed offensive lineman Nick Gates. To make room for him on the roster, the Eagles released cornerback Mario Goodrich.
Gates spent five seasons with the Giants after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2018, and one year with the Commanders in 2023 as a center. After landing on Injured Reserve as a rookie, Gates started in 37 out of 59 career regular-season games. The 6-foot-5, 312-pound lineman played college football at Nebraska from 2015-17.
Goodrich has been on and off the Eagles' practice squad since 2022, playing in four games with one start. – Written by Liam Wichser
