The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have signed OL Greg Isdaner to the practice squad.
Originally a rookie free agent signing of the Dallas Cowboys in 2009, Isdaner, 6-foot-3, 325 pounds, was released prior to the start of the regular season. The 23-year old played collegiately at West Virginia, where he was a three-year starter at left guard, blocking for five 1,000-yard rushers and earning ESPN first-team All-America Honors in 2008.
A local product out of Episcopal Academy in Merion, PA, Isdaner was a three-year starter on the offensive line and defensive tackle, earning first-team All-Conference and All-Main Line honors. He also lettered in basketball and lacrosse.
There was an open spot on the practice squad after the Washington Redskins signed OL Paul Fanaika to their active roster.
Isdaner will wear number 68.
