The Eagles have added another talented player to their stable of running backs with the signing of Felix Jones, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys. The 26-year-old Jones, 6-0, 200, has rushed for 2,728 yards in five seasons on 4.8 yards per carry. Jones joins five other running backs on the roster and is likely to compete with the likes of Chris Polk, Miguel Maysonet and Matthew Tucker for a role alongside LeSean McCoy and Bryce Brown.
To make room on the 90-man roster, the Eagles released wide receiver Marvin McNutt, a sixth-round pick in 2012.
Jones is scheduled to meet with the media this afternoon following Tuesday's Organized Team Activity.
