The Eagles signed running back Jordan Howard to the active roster on Wednesday.
Called up from the practice squad in each of the past two games, Howard's punishing, downhill style has boosted the run game by contributing 128 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
The Eagles are not able to elevate Howard from the practice squad for anymore games and running back Miles Sanders is still on Injured Reserve, so the team decided to ensure Howard's availability by putting him on the active roster along with Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott.
