The Eagles announced Tuesday that they have brought back safety Tre Sullivan to the practice squad and released cornerback De'Vante Bausby.
Sullivan spent the later portion of last season on the Eagles' practice squad after being signed by the team as an undrafted free agent in the spring of 2017. He was waived by the team after Training Camp on September 9 and signed to the practice squad on November 7.
Sullivan was signed a futures contract with the Eagles in February 2018. In three preseason games, Sullivan totaled 14 tackles, playing roles on defense and special teams. He saw playing time in the Eagles' regular-season opener on September 6.
Bausby, like Sullivan, was on the Eagles' practice squad in 2017 and competed for a spot on the active roster this preseason. In fact, he rotated in at times with the first-team defense as the nickel cornerback.
