The Eagles returned to the field on Tuesday with a new wide receiver on the roster as the team signed Devin Ross. To make room on the roster, guard Johnny Gibson was waived.
The 5-9, 192-pound Ross entered the NFL as an undrafted signing of the Tennessee Titans in 2018 out of Colorado. With the Buffaloes, Ross had 140 catches for 1,621 yards, and nine touchdowns. Ross was released with an injury settlement at the end of the preseason, but the Titans brought him back to the practice squad in October. Ross was re-signed by the Titans at the end of the year on a futures deal, but was waived two weeks ago.
The Eagles now have 13 wide receivers on the roster.
