The Eagles signed wide receiver Marken Michel to the practice squad on Thursday morning. Michel originally signed with team in the beginning of the calendar year, but was then waived during the cutdown to 53 players on August 30. He had four catches for 117 yards and a touchdown in the preseason.
The 5-11, 190-pound receiver spent two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL prior to joining the Eagles. He totaled 72 receptions for 1,215 yards and eight touchdowns in 24 career games in Canada. Michel was named the CFL West Division Rookie of the Year in 2017.
After attending the University of Massachusetts, Michel was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vikings in 2016.
