The Colts plucked tight end Anthony Hill from the practice squad on Tuesday, so the Eagles filled his spot with former Penn State wide receiver-turned-tight end Brett Brackett.
A native of Lawrence, N.J., Brackett was signed as a rookie free agent by the Miami Dolphins in 2011 and spent time on Jacksonville's practice squad. The 6-5, 246-pound Brackett caught 39 passes for 525 yards and five touchdowns as a senior wide receiver in 2010.
