The Eagles will have six players inactive for Monday night's showdown with the Chiefs.
DE Derek Barnett: The veteran will miss the Week 11 game due to a personal matter.
TE Dallas Goedert: The tight end suffered a fractured forearm against the Cowboys and is unable to play.
QB Tanner McKee (3rd QB): The rookie will serve as the team's emergency quarterback and can only play if Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota get injured.
DT Moro Ojomo: The rookie defensive tackle will be inactive tonight.
G Sua Opeta: The guard will be inactive for the first time this season after playing in the first nine games, starting four. Starting right guard Cam Jurgens returns tonight from Injured Reserve.
RB Rashaad Penny: The running back was active against the Cowboys but is inactive this week with Boston Scott returning to the lineup.
The Eagles elevated linebacker Ben VanSumeren from the practice squad for tonight's game. The undrafted rookie made his NFL debut in Week 9.
Safety Justin Evans (knee) and Goedert (forearm) are the only players to miss out with injuries. Evans had his 21-day practice window opened last week, designating him for a return from Injured Reserve. The safety was a limited participant at practice this week but is not ready to play. Since he has not yet been activated off of the Injured Reserve list, he does not count toward the 53-man roster or inactive list.
Tight end Grant Calcaterra, Jurgens (foot), and cornerback Bradley Roby (shoulder) were all full participants at practice this week. Calcaterra missed Week 9 with a concussion, Jurgens has not played since Week 4, and Roby has recovered from an injury that sidelined him in Week 6. All three have no game status designations and are set to play against the Chiefs. – Written by Owen Boyle
