Tight end Zach Ertz will suit up for today's game against the Miami Dolphins. He was limited in practice this week with a hamstring injury that left him questionable. The Eagles promoted tight end Joshua Perkins from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday as insurance. It remains to see how much Ertz will play.
Wide receivers Nelson Agholor and Alshon Jeffery are also active to provide an additional boost for the offense. Agholor missed last Sunday's game against Seattle with a knee injury. Jeffery has been sidelined for the past two contests with an ankle ailment.
In addition, the offensive line welcomes the return of tackle Lane Johnson and guard Brandon Brooks. Johnson missed the Seattle game with a concussion and Brooks left last week's battle in the first quarter due to an anxiety-related illness.
Defensively, cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc will make his season debut against Miami. He suffered a foot injury in Training Camp that landed him on Injured Reserve. He was placed on the active roster Saturday.
Here is a look at the Eagles who are inactive for today's game:
DE Daeshon Hall: Hall suited up but did not play last week against Seattle. The Eagles will have five defensive ends active: Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, Vinny Curry, Josh Sweat, and Genard Avery.
G Nate Herbig: The rookie free agent has been inactive for every game this season.
RB Jordan Howard: Downgraded to out on Saturday, Howard is the only player who is sidelined due to injury. This is his third straight game out with a shoulder injury.
CB Sidney Jones: With LeBlanc's return, the Eagles have six cornerbacks active: Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills, Avonte Maddox, Rasul Douglas, Craig James, and LeBlanc.
DE Shareef Miller: The rookie defensive end has been active for two games this season. He played on special teams in the win over Buffalo.
G Matt Pryor: Pryor was thrust into action last Sunday due to the injury situation along the right side of the offensive line. With Johnson and Brooks back, Pryor is inactive.
QB Nate Sudfeld: With the team relatively healthy, the Eagles keep just two quarterbacks active: Carson Wentz and Josh McCown.
