Here is all you need to know about the players that won't suit up for the Eagles-Vikings matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium today:
CB Ronald Darby: The cornerback is out again with a hamstring injury suffered in Week 3 against Detroit. Good news is that Sidney Jones is active for the Eagles giving them five cornerbacks: Rasul Douglas, Craig James, Jones, Ryan Lewis, and Orlando Scandrick. Jones is coming off a hamstring injury, but after a week of full participation in practice head coach Doug Pederson said the cornerback is ready to go.
G/C Nate Herbig: A healthy scratch, the Eagles decide to have all three quarterbacks active. The Eagles have plenty of reserves along the offensive line with Andre Dillard, Matt Pryor, and Halapoulivaati Vaitai.
WR DeSean Jackson: The wide receiver will miss his third straight game with an abdominal injury suffered in the Week 2 game against Atlanta. Mack Hollins is in line to start on the outside opposite Alshon Jeffery.
DT Tim Jernigan: The defensive tackle is out indefinitely with a foot injury he suffered in the Week 2 game against Atlanta. Hassan Ridgeway will start alongside Fletcher Cox.
CB Avonte Maddox: Maddox is sidelined with the concussion and neck injuries that he suffered in Green Bay. Scandrick was brought back to man the nickel position in Maddox's absence.
DE Shareef Miller: The rookie has been inactive for all five games this season. Vinny Curry, Daeshon Hall, and Josh Sweat are the backup defensive ends.
RB Darren Sproles: The running back is out after sustaining a quadricep injury during the Week 5 matchup against the New York Jets. Running back Boston Scott was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster to counteract this injury.
Two starters are out for the Vikings: guard Josh Kline and linebacker Ben Gedeon. Dakota Dozier is slated to start at right guard for Kline. Eric Wilson is in line to play for Gedeon. The Vikings are also without backup middle linebacker Kentrell Brothers.
