The Philadelphia Eagles waived wide receiver Jordan Matthews on Monday afternoon. Matthews re-signed with the team back on November 11.
In his short tenure with the Eagles in the 2019 season, Matthews played in two games and started this past Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. He contributed 33 yards on four receptions, accounting for 137 total snaps during that span.
The Eagles currently have five other wide receivers on the roster with Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Mack Hollins, Alshon Jeffery, and Greg Ward.
