The NFL announced on Sunday that the Eagles-Washington battle in Week 16 will kick off at 4:30 PM and air nationally on NFL Network. The Eagles-Washington game is part of a Saturday doubleheader along with the San Diego Chargers against the San Francisco 49ers which will air in primetime at 8:25 PM on CBS.
The last time the Eagles played on a Saturday in the regular season was on Christmas Eve in 2011 when they defeated the Cowboys 20-7 in Dallas.
The Eagles met Washington already once this season back in Week 3 and won 37-34. Washington fell to the Indianapolis Colts by a 49-27 score on Sunday. Washington's fourth-straight loss dropped the Eagles' division rivals to 3-9 on the season.
