The Eagles have confirmed that the team worked out quarterback Geno Smith in Morgantown, West Virginia on Monday.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk originally reported that Chairman and CEO Jeffery Lurie, general manager Howie Roseman and head coach Chip Kelly were all in attendance.
Smith is considered to be the best available quarterback in this year's draft. Last season, Smith completed 369 of his 518 pass attempts for 4,205 yards, 42 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also ran 66 times for 151 yards and two scores.
The Eagles hold the fourth overall pick in April's draft and currently have five quarterbacks on the roster - Michael Vick, Nick Foles, Trent Edwards, Dennis Dixon and G.J. Kinne.
