Former Eagle Troy Vincent has joined the NFL league office as vice president of player development for active players, according to Greg Aiello of NFL public relations.
"Whoa: Former NFL DB Troy Vincent has been named NFL vice president of player development for active players, the NFL announced today," tweeted Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Schefter followed up: "Vincent was up for the NFLPA Exec. Director job that went to De Smith instead. So now Vincent has joined the NFL. Very interesting."
Vincent played with the Eagles from 1996-2003, making five consecutive Pro Bowls from 1999-2003. He is a member of the Eagles 75th anniversary team.
