Head coach Andy Reid may have to call in a favor from his former offensive coordinator.
The Atlanta Falcons remain a roadblock in the Eagles' path to the postseason after beating Tampa Bay 13-10 in overtime on Sunday.
If the Falcons had lost, the Eagles would have surpassed them in the standings by a half-game. In fact, the Eagles would have also seized control of their playoff destiny.
For the Eagles to make the playoffs, they must win out and hope that either the Falcons or the Bucs lose at least one of their final two games. Next week, the Falcons travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings. The Vikings, coached by former Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress, are in a tight race with the Chicago Bears for the NFC North title. The Falcons end the season hosting the Rams.
With two straight losses, the Bucs now have the same record as Atlanta at 9-5. The Bucs have two favorable contests remaining – a pair of home games against the Chargers and the Raiders.
