Washington Pro Bowl middle linebacker London Fletcher knows that even with a 3-6 record his team still has a chance to win the division because "the NFC East is terrible."
One would think Fletcher would be more confident in his team's chances especially since they rallied from the same exact predicament last season to win the division. In 2012, Washington faced the Eagles with a 3-6 record and won that game to spark a seven-game win streak and take the division title.
However, Fletcher surmised that at this point his team is the worst in the division ranking the Eagles, Giants and Cowboys ahead of his squad, respectively.
Why? Even though quarterback Robert Griffin III has rebounded from his early-season struggles, the defense is not offering much support. Washington is ranked next-to-last in the league in points allowed.
