Contract Status: Connor Barwin agreed to terms on a six-year deal on March 14, 2013 that runs through the 2018 season.

2014 Season In Review: In his second season with the Eagles, linebacker Connor Barwin took his game to an otherworldly level. The athletic backer gave quarterbacks nightmares all year long, piling up a career-high 14.5 sacks. He finished first on his team, first in the NFC and fourth in the NFL in total sacks. He recorded at least two sacks in four different games, including two games with at least three sacks. All of that added up to Barwin's first career Pro Bowl selection, a decidedly deserved one and the first selection for an Eagles linebacker since 2005. It was fitting, since Barwin's 14.5 sacks were the most ever by an Eagle linebacker in a single season.

What's On The Horizon: It's hard to imagine Barwin topping the phenomenal campaign he put together in 2014, simply because the volume of sacks was unprecedented for an Eagles linebacker. But it's equally hard to imagine Barwin's game regressing in any way. The Eagles' front three proved as adept as any defensive line in the league at swallowing up offensive linemen and opening holes for its premier pass rusher in Barwin, and the veteran linebacker answered the call time and again. With an entire offseason to keep training and perfecting his techniques, Barwin should remain one of the most feared pass rushers in the NFL in 2015.
