Safety Marlin Jackson suffered an injury during Tuesday's OTA.
Taking part in a team drill, Jackson was initially helped off the turf but eventually was able to walk under his own power. The practice was held inside the NovaCare Complex bubble due to rain in South Philadelphia.
The 6-foot, 196-pound Jackson was signed by the Eagles this off-season after five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. A starter at both safety and cornerbacks in Indy, the former first-round pick is competing for the starting spot at free safety opposite Quintin Mikell.
UPDATE: The Eagles updated the injury situation after practice and said that Jackson suffered a right ankle injury. No further details are available at this time. In addition, guard Todd Herremans missed practice with a sore left foot.
