LANDOVER, MD- Eight days after suffering a concussion against the Indianapolis Colts, Max Jean-Gilles is active for the Eagles on Monday Night Football. However, Nick Cole will start at right guard after taking most of the first-team reps this week. Cole last started in the Week 3 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As expected, safety Nate Allen and cornerback Ellis Hobbs are inactive. Kurt Coleman will start in Allen's absence for the first time in his career and Dimitri Patterson will start at right cornerback for the second consecutive week.
The rest of the Eagles' inactives are: tight end Garrett Mills, wide receiver Chad Hall, offensive tackle King Dunlap (hyperextended knee), guard Reggie Wells, defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim and quarterback Mike Kafka (third quarterback). Rookie tight end Clay Harbor is active for the first time since Week 1.
UPDATE: The Redskins have announced their inactives: running back Clinton Ports, quarterback John Beck (third quarterback), cornerback Kevin Barnes, returner Chad Simpson, linebacker Perry Riley, offensive lineman Derrick Dockery, defensive lineman Anthony Bryant and defensive lineman Jeremy Jarmon.
Ryan Torain will start at running back for the Redskins.
