At least one Eagles free agent will suit up for another team in 2014.
Washington announced on Thursday that they have signed defensive end Clifton Geathers. Acquired in a trade with Indianapolis, Geathers played in all 16 games for the Eagles in 2013 and had 26 tackles and four quarterback hurries as a reserve. Geathers was fifth among the team's defensive linemen with 252 snaps (21 percent) on defense.
At 6-foot-8, Geathers was the tallest player on defense and tied for tallest player on the team with offensive tackle Dennis Kelly.
