FOX's Jay Glazer reported on Sunday evening that Kevin Kolb is likely to start next Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
"Well, here was the plan. (The Eagles) thought Michael Vick could play next week, but if Kevin Kolb lit it up today they're going to have Kevin Kolb start again next week because they have the bye the following week," Glazer said. "Let Michael Vick rest up two more weeks, those rib injuries are very painful to recover from."
Kolb certainly lit it up throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Falcons. Head coach Andy Reid said that Vick is his starting quarterback, but had some fun with reporters by adding "you take Michael Kolb and we go play, baby."
