Graham Still Waiting To Be Activated

Defense end Brandon Graham saw what his teammates on the defensive line did to the Cowboys and quarterback Tony Romo on Sunday night when they accumulated four sacks in the 34-7 win. Graham wants nothing more than to be on the field helping out.

"Seeing (Jason) Babin balling out, seeing Trent (Cole) balling out, all of those guys, I want to be a part of that," Graham said. "If I don't have any sacks then I'm not contributing. I can't want to get out there and have some fun with the boys."

Graham practiced last week for the first time in 2011. Graham suffered a knee injury late in 2010 and started this season on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Graham can be activated from the list and placed on the active roster anytime between now and the end of next week's slate of NFL games. If Graham is not placed on the active roster, the Eagles must put him on the Injured Reserve list. If the Eagles do put Graham on the roster, they must make an additional roster move to clear a spot for him.

Head coach Andy Reid said on Monday that Graham will practice this week, but it is too early to say whether or not he will play this Monday night against Chicago.

"We're just going to practice him again just like we did last week," Reid said. "And we're going to work him into the rotation, and then we'll just see how he is as we go. I can't give you an answer on that right now. We'll see."

Graham, the Eagles' first-round pick in 2010, said that he was sore last week, but most importantly his knee held up "real well." Graham was itching to play against Dallas because that is the team the Eagles faced when he suffered the injury last season. Graham understands that the decision is out of his hands.

"I'm feeling good. I feel ready to go every day. I'm anxious to get back out on the field," said Graham, who had 3.0 sacks as a rookie. "I'm going to take my time, see what happens. Hopefully, (I'll play) this week. If not, I've got another week to get ready."
