The Eagles know how to heat up in the month of December and will need to do so once again. Since 2017, the Eagles are 11-4 in December, the best record in the NFC in that span.
On Sunday, the first challenge of December is a familiar foe as the Eagles take on quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. These two teams battled last season, a Thursday night thriller that the Eagles captured 34-27.
The Packers are back atop the NFC North with an 8-3 record. Rodgers is playing some of the best football of his Hall of Fame career, leading the league in touchdown passes (33) and passer rating (117.6).
"He has great command over their offense, they're hardly ever in bad plays. He seems like he always makes the right decision," Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz said. "He's willing to check the ball down. He can still scramble, he can still make those big plays, but they're a lot less one-dimensional than at times they have been in the past."
