There's already plenty of intrigue regarding the upcoming chapter of the Eagles-Cowboys rivalry, which resumes Sunday night in Philadelphia.
It's not a surprise that first place is at stake in the NFC East between these two teams. But no one expected this to be a battle of two teams that have struggled in the first half of the 2020 campaign. The Eagles enjoyed a mini-bye week after a come-from-behind win over the New York Giants that was more thrilling than any Halloween movie. Meanwhile, the Cowboys were humbled last week by Washington and quarterback Andy Dalton suffered a concussion leaving him doubtful for this matchup. If Dalton is unable to play, rookie Ben DiNucci, a seventh-round pick out of James Madison, will make his first career start for the Cowboys.
