The Giants will be without first-round draft pick cornerback Prince Amukamara and Pro Bowl defensive end Osi Umenyiora this Sunday against the Eagles as they were officially ruled out on the team's injury report.
Neither Amukamara (foot) nor Umenyiora (knee) have played for the Giants this season due to their respective injuries. However, the Giants were hoping to possibly have Umenyiora back but he did not practice all week.
Wide receiver Mario Manningham is doubtful after suffering a concussion in the Monday night win over St. Louis. Domenik Hixon, who tore his ACL against the Rams, was placed on injured reserve Friday to make room for veteran receiver Michael Clayton. The Giants will likely start second-year receiver Victor Cruz opposite of Hakeem Nicks.
Four other players appeared on the Giants injury report and all of them are listed as probable for the game: center David Baas (lower leg), tight end Travis Beckum (hamstring), defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy (knee) and defensive end Justin Tuck, who was excused from practice Friday due to a reported death in the family.
For the Eagles, quarterback Michael Vick is listed as questionable with the concussion that he suffered against the Falcons. However, Vick spoke on Friday and is confident that he will play Sunday. Defensive ends Juqua Parker (ankle) and Darryl Tapp (pectoral) have been ruled out for Sunday's game.
The following players were all listed as probable for the Eagles: safety Nate Allen (knee), tight end Brent Celek (hip), defensive end Trent Cole (hand), wide receiver Riley Cooper (hamstring), tight end Clay Harbor (ankle), linebacker Akeem Jordan (shoulder), tackle Winston Justice (knee), linebacker Brian Rolle (quadricep), cornerback Asante Samuel (finger), wide receiver Steve Smith (knee) and quarterback Vince Young (hamstring).
