Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha said after Monday's practice that he was cleared to return to action and participated in the workout. Asomugha suffered a concussion and a stinger on Thursday night against Seattle. Asomugha has also been battling the hyperextended knee he suffered in practice on November 24.
Offensive lineman King Dunlap said that he was also back on the practice field for the first time since he suffered a concussion in the game against the Cardinals on November 13. Dunlap added that he passed the tests on Monday morning.
Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie said that he did "a little bit" in practice on Monday. In terms of his availability for this Sunday's game, Rodgers-Cromartie said that he's "day-to-day" with the high-ankle sprain that he suffered in the Arizona game. The biggest challenge, Rodgers-Cromartie explained, is the initial burst at the snap. He said that once he gets moving, he can run.
Running back LeSean McCoy did not reveal what he did in practice or whether he took part in practice on Monday because of a toe injury, only saying the toe was "good." McCoy surely wasn't limited on Thursday night as he scored two touchdowns and accumulated 133 yards from scrimmage. McCoy leads the NFL is rushing yards (1,134) and total touchdowns (15).
