No official word from the team, but Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro noted on the Kickoff Show presented by Axalta that tight end Dallas Goedert went to the locker room during pre-game warmups with the training staff.
Spadaro explained that Goedert had a calf injury that sidelined him during the preseason. Goedert played in the season opener against Washington and had two catches for 16 yards.
If Goedert can't play, the Eagles have only one tight end active in Zach Ertz. Tight end Alex Ellis played on special teams last week against Washington, but he was waived and brought back to the practice squad.
The Eagles announced that Goedert is questionable with a calf injury in the first quarter. Goedert had not played yet at the time of the announcement.
