Wide receiver DeSean Jackson had an outstanding sophomore season where it seemed each and every week he was adding more and more footage to the highlight reel.
Well, Jackson's penchant for big plays has caught the attention of NFL fans around the world as his jersey ranked 15th in the league in terms of the most sold for the past year, according to NFLShop.com. Jackson was the highest-ranked Eagle and only one wide receiver - Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald at No. 14 - was ahead of him.
Last year, Jackson became the first player in NFL history to be voted to the Pro Bowl at two different positions in the same year - wide receiver and returner. He had eight touchdowns of 50 yards-or-more which tied for the league record.
Jackson was also the league's top punt returner in 2009 and was second in the league in yards per catch. He finished with 62 catches for 1,156 yards and nine receiving touchdowns. In all, Jackson scored 12 touchdowns last season.
I'm sure that this isn't a surprise, but nine quarterbacks – led by Minnesota's Brett Favre at No. 1 overall - were ranked among the top 15 list of most jerseys sold.
