Center Jason Kelce was cleated in the shin during Thursday's practice which caused him to storm off, kicking a recycling can on his way out of the team's practice bubble before returning.

In the locker room afterward, Kelce used a yard work analogy.

"You hit your thumb with a hammer then throw the hammer halfway across the yard because of that," Kelce said.

He wishes he had a better story, but he'll be fine for Sunday's game against the Giants. His teammates had fun at Kelce's expense on Twitter.

Only two Eagles missed practice, both due to illness - wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and defensive end Steven Means.

Guard Stefen Wisniewski (ankle) was limited after not practicing on Wednesday. Everyone else was a full participant.

The New York Giants announced that starting offensive lineman Justin Pugh will be placed on Injured Reserve with a back injury. Nine Giants were limited including safety Landon Collins, defensive tackle Damon Harrison, defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, and wide receiver Sterling Shepard.
