Chairman/CEO Jeffrey Lurie discussed the legacy of defensive coordinator Jim Johnson who recently lost his courageous battle with cancer. Lurie said that he thinks about him everyday and misses him dearly. To honor what he meant to the organization, Lurie said that Johnson will soon be inducted into the team's Honor Roll. Lurie added that he hopes the team can win the Super Bowl for him this season. The current members of the Honor Roll are: Chuck Bednarik, Tom Brookshier, Bert Bell, Bob Brown, Bill Bergey, Jerome Brown, Bill Bradley, Timmy Brown, Harold Carmichael, Ron Jaworski, Otho Davis, Sonny Jurgensen, Jim Gallagher, Ollie Matson, Bill Hewitt, Tommy McDonald, Wilbert Montgomery, Pete Retzlaff, Greasy Neale, Jim Ringo, Pete Pihos, Jerry Sisemore, Mike Quick, Norm Van Brocklin, Steve Van Buren, Reggie White, Dick Vermeil Alex Wojciechowicz, Stan Walters and the 1948 and 1949 NFL Championship Teams.
