Head coach Chip Kelly said that cornerback Brandon Boykin and safety Patrick Chung will be limited in practice on Wednesday.
Kelly said that Boykin suffered a shoulder contusion as a gunner on a punt play last Sunday. Kelly said that rookie Jordan Poyer will practice "a little bit" in Boykin's slot cornerback position, but the Eagles "hope" Boykin will be full-go in Thursday's practice.
Chung missed Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. Kelly said he does not know if Chung will be full-go on Thursday. Defensive coordinator Bill Davis said that Chung is day-to-day on Tuesday. Rookie safety Earl Wolff started in Chung's place Sunday. On Monday, Kelly said that he loves Wolff's energy, "but he's still learning on the job."
