Kelly Expects Jackson To Practice Fully

One of the biggest surprises on the Eagles injury report on Wednesday was DeSean Jackson, who was listed as a limited participant in practice because of an ankle injury. On Thursday, Chip Kelly updated the situation, saying that he expects the Eagles leading receiver to be back to practicing fully today.

"He's going to come out and practice today," Kelly said about Jackson. "He hurt his ankle, but he should be full. We'll see what he can do and what the effects are. He just rolled it or tweaked it or whatever, but he's going today."

Jackson wasn't the only Eagles wide receiver on the injury report, as Damaris Johnson did not participate in Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. According to Kelly, Thursday will be a big test for the Eagles kick returner.

"(Damaris) is going to try to go today," said Kelly. "I don't know exactly what extent he is. Today is kind of a big day to see where he is and what he can do and what he can't do, but he's going to give it a shot and run around a little bit today, but he did not do anything on Tuesday or Wednesday."

Kelly also updated the health of safety Patrick Chung (shoulder), who was listed as a full participant on Wednesday.

"(Chung) can run around full speed. It's 'Can he take a hit?', and we're not hitting full speed. He was a little bit more aggressive yesterday in pads because he has to test himself a little bit. He's doing some work on the sled to see how it responds to that, and we'll see."
