Head coach Chip Kelly told reporters Monday afternoon that quarterback Nick Foles had a checkup appointment to monitor the progress of his injured clavicle the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Kelly said the doctors told Foles and the team that the bone is healing, but Foles has yet to be cleared to play. There is no discernible time table for his return at this point.
"He'll have other exams until he eventually gets cleared," Kelly explained. "The bone hasn't healed yet."
Foles has been out of the lineup since he suffered the injury in the Eagles' Week 9 win over the Houston Texans.
Before the injury, Foles had thrown for 2,163 yards and 13 touchdowns in eight games, compiling a 6-2 record.
