Head coach Chip Kelly gave his weekly interview with the WIP Morning Show on Monday to discuss the Eagles' 38-24 loss to Washington and preview the regular season finale with the New York Giants. Kelly was asked by host Rickie Ricardo about reports of left tackle Jason Peters pulling himself from the game in the fourth quarter, and the Eagles' head coach was quick to shoot them down.
"Jason couldn't go at the end of the game," Kelly said. "He got hurt earlier in the game, I believe in the first quarter, and was out for a couple of plays. Jason has been giving us everything. He's been a warrior all season long. He's got a couple ailments that have hampered his play early in the season, but he's fought through all of those things. Jason is a warrior. It's unfair to say that he's not giving us his all."
Hear more from Coach Kelly at his press conference at the NovaCare Complex today at 1 PM, which will be streamed live on our site and the official Eagles app.
