The Eagles announced Sunday the release of linebacker Corey Nelson. The Eagles signed Nelson in the 2018 offseason as a free agent after he spent the first four years of his career with the Broncos (2014-17). Nelson was originally selected by Denver in the seventh round (242nd overall pick) of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The Eagles now have 89 players on their roster. This move comes after the signing of linebacker Jaboree Williams and the release of safety Stephen Roberts this weekend.
