After one season with the Eagles as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, Roger Marandino was officially named on Thursday night as the Indianapolis Colts' new strength and conditioning coach.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the Eagles have hired University of Georgia assistant strength and conditioning coach Keith Gray to replace Marandino and work under Hall of Fame strength and conditioning coach Barry Rubin, but the Eagles have not made any official announcement. Gray has been with the University of Georgia for 13 seasons.
Before joining the Eagles, Marandino spent 16 seasons as the director of strength and conditioning at Brown University where he oversaw the school's 37 varsity sports. He was named NSCA Ivy League Coach of the Year twice and the NSCA's National Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year in 2000. Marandino also won three national championships as a competitive power lifter.
