As the Eagles hit the practice field for the afternoon practice of Tuesday's minicamp, starting left guard Evan Mathis has returned as a participant in practice. After undergoing a minor procedure on his ankle earlier this offseason, Mathis had been working on the side throughout the last few weeks of Organized Team Activities. Center Jason Kelce is also practicing in a similar capacity.
Safety Kenny Phillips, who did not practice last week once because of the birth of his first child and once as a precautionary measure related to his surgically repaired knee, is practicing for the Eagles as well.
Only tight end James Casey, who underwent a minor knee scope a couple weeks ago, is on the sideline for the Eagles Tuesday. Three of the 90 players on the roster are not in attendance.
