Last week, not a single Eagle was inactive due to injury, but entering Saturday's must-win game against the Washington Redskins the team won't be as fortunate. Philadelphia will be without two key starters on the defensive side of the ball, cornerback Byron Maxwell (shoulder) and nose tackle Bennie Logan (calf).

Both players were injured during last week's 40-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, and both were held out of all three of the team's practice sessions during the week due to their ailments. Also unavailable due to injury is reserve wideout Seji Ajirotutu, who was listed as questionable with an ankle injury entering Saturday. In place of Maxwell, the Eagles will start E.J. Biggers. He and Jaylen Watkins stepped into the spotlight last week when Maxwell and fellow corner Eric Rowe were knocked out of the game. With Logan unavailable, Beau Allen will start over center, but defensive ends Cedric Thornton and Fletcher Cox could see snaps at nose tackle as well.

In addition to Maxwell, Logan, and Ajirotutu, the Eagles will also sit quarterback Thad Lewis, offensive linemen Tanner Hawkinson and Barrett Jones, and linebacker Steven Means.

Washington entered Saturday with the status of three starters – center Josh LeRibeus, right tackle Morgan Moses, and safety Dashon Goldson – up in the air, but the trio was given the green light and they will all suit up against the Eagles. However, the Redskins will be without rookie running back Matt Jones (hip), who has split carries with Alfred Morris all season.

Also inactive for Washington will be quarterback Robert Griffin III, tight ends Je'Ron Hamm and Marcel Jenson, offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio, defensive end Frank Kearse, and linebacker Perry Riley, Jr.
