McCarthy Preparing Wallace Vs. Eagles

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy announced at a press conference Tuesday evening that he is preparing Seneca Wallace to start at quarterback against the Eagles this Sunday. Aaron Rodgers is sidelined with a fractured collarbone injury that he incurred in Monday night's loss to the Bears on the team's first possession.

"I have all the confidence in the world in Seneca," McCarthy said, per Packers.com. "This is a great opportunity for our football team to show its mettle."

Wallace finished 11-of-19 for 114 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. It was Wallace's first game action since he started Week 17 of the 2011 season for the Cleveland Browns. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur was the head coach and defensive coordinator Bill Davis coached the linebackers.
