It seems that LeSean McCoy is the only person who can stop LeSean McCoy these days.
Head coach Andy Reid said on Thursday that he sent home McCoy, who is battling a stomach flu. McCoy did not practice on Thursday. Ronnie Brown and Dion Lewis will split the first-team practice reps in McCoy's absence.
McCoy is the reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 185 yards on 30 carries (both career highs) against the Cowboys on Sunday night. This season, McCoy is first in the league in rushing yards per game, first in first downs, first in rushes of 10-or-more yards, first in yards per carry and second in total touchdowns.
Tight end Brent Celek took part in Thursday morning's walkthrough, but may not practice Wednesday because of a hip contusion Reid said. Linebacker Akeem Jordan has yet to pass the concussion test, but Reid said he feels good.
Defensive end Brandon Graham will practice, but no decision has been made regarding whether he will be promoted to the active roster prior to the Monday night game. Reid said that the Eagles have until Sunday at 4 PM to decide whether Graham will play Monday night against the Bears. If the Eagles activate Graham from the Physically Unable to Perform list, they will have to make another roster move to make room for him.
