Donovan McNabb took a much-needed step forward Monday, participating in his first practice since fracturing a rib in the season opener Sept. 13 at Carolina.
McNabb was joined on the field by running back Brian Westbrook and receiver Kevin Curtis, although it's not clear to what degree the three players participated. All three offensive starters were sidelined for the team's last game, a 34-14 win over the Chiefs on Sept. 27.
According to a team spokesman, only left guard Todd Herremans did not practice Monday. Full practice participation/injury reports will be issued Wednesday, when the team resumes its workouts.
Asked on how he felt, McNabb said: "No comment."
The quarterback is expected to talk to the media at his usual midweek press conference on Wednesday. Tune in for LIVE coverage on Eagles Live! beginning at 11 am.
