Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb spoke exclusively with PhiladelphiaEagles.com's Dave Spadaro earlier today about how McNabb is recovering from the fractured rib he suffered in the season opening win against the Carolina Panthers.
Q: How do you feel?
McNabb: "I feel pretty good, better than last Monday. It's one day at a time. I think there is a process that is going on, and the progression makes you feel confident that things are going to be better. Hopefully, it will be quicker than later. I'm looking forward to being back out on the field."
Q: Do you have any sense at all about playing against Kansas City?
McNabb: "I don't. I wish I had an answer, but I don't. Hopefully, things will continue to get better and I'll have one for you later."
Head coach Andy Reid said earlier that "there is a chance" that McNabb will practice this week, and that if McNabb is unable to go against the Chiefs then Kevin Kolb will start at quarterback.
