The Eagles announced on Thursday morning that guard Mike Gibson has been signed off the practice squad by the Seattle Seahawks. To replace Gibson, the Eagles welcomed back guard Dallas Reynolds, who was with the team in training camp and preseason before being released during the final roster cutdown. Reynolds originally joined the Eagles as a rookie free agent out of BYU.
Since Brandon Gibson was traded to the Rams at Tuesday's trade deadline, the Eagles decided to add another wide receiver to the practice squad. The Eagles signed Dobson Collins, a 6-2, 178-pound receiver who was with the 49ers in training camp. The rookie free agent was a two-time All-Big South selection at Gardner-Webb where he caught 143 passes for 1,745 yards and 14 touchdowns in his college career. To make room for Collins, the Eagles released cornerback Stoney Woodson.
