What Andy Reid didn't exactly say Wednesday offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg confirmed on Thursday: Michael Vick will play Sunday against Kansas City.
The only question that remains is ... how much will Vick play?
"We'll see how he handles the few things that we have in for him," Mornhinweg said.
Reid and Mornhinweg pretty much ruled out any notion of Vick playing quarterback for the entire game. Instead, Vick will operate out of spread-option formations in Philadelphia's Wildcat package, much like he did in the preseason.
Last week, the Eagles had some success with the Wildcat, running nine plays where someone other than quarterback Kevin Kolb took the snap.
And Reid was pleased with the results.
"Whatever term you want to give the thing, it averaged 5.7 yards and was very productive," said Reid, adding that it also kept the chains moving, netting five first downs.
